Berbotonal method is a method of speech rehabilitation for persons with communication impairments, based upon body movements which imitate articulatory movements of speech or based upon amplification frequencies that are not perceived.
Threw games, rythm activities, children do movements that help them to pronounce. They do global motricity to be better with precise one.
The method was invented by Petar Guberina in the years 5O in Zagreb. It came in France ten years after.
For example, to pronounce a "a", you have to spread your arms (large and open movement). To pronounce a "o", you have to close your arms in front of you (closed movement).
In the same way, the sounds are then hung to form syllabs and words.
Children generally appreciate this method because it's very playful.
